Practicing to a metronome is important, but it can become a crutch if you don't have the ability to play without. These metronome tracks drop out for random bars in order to help you get used to holding meter when there isn't a click. I use them with rudiments or beats on drums, scales on guitar and just about anything else musical.
This album includes metronomes for tempos ranging from 80-180bpm along with a pdf explaining how to make your own metronomes with random (or planned) drops at any tempo.
